Teak is the most durable and finest timber for outdoor furniture. Naturally resistant to sun, rain, frost and snow, it is exceptionally well suited to year-round outdoor use. Even after many years of exposure to the elements, the timber remains stable, retaining its shape apart from minimal changes caused by fluctuations in humidity. The only noticeable transformation is its colour: over time, teak develops an elegant silvery-grey patina.
For us, teak is far more than just a raw material – it is a valuable natural resource that we are committed to preserving and protecting. That is why Garpa sources only legally harvested timber and obtains its teak exclusively from plantations.
